He was found wandering near the Masan city pound after being abandoned and injured. He was taken to the pound, where he was at risk of euthanasia before being rescued. Winkle has also completed heartworm treatment in 2024 and is now in good health, ready for his forever home.

Winkle is a friendly and affectionate dog who quickly warms up to new people. He enjoys attention, happily leans in for pets, and can be picked up without issue. He will even show his belly to strangers, demonstrating his trust and ease around people. While he has not had experience with young children, he adapts quickly and is likely to do well with gentle introductions. He is also social with other dogs and enjoys meeting and playing with them. His behavior around cats is unknown, as he has not been tested.
