🐕My Story🐕

Hi there! My name is Minguk, and I’m a charming 1-year-old Jindo mix with a sleek brown coat and a big heart. At 26 kg (57 lbs), I may look strong and confident, but deep down, I’m just a goofy and gentle boy who loves to play and explore. My life started out a little rough, but thanks to some kind-hearted rescuers who saw my potential, I’m now ready to find my forever family!

I was rescued from a shelter after being abandoned due to my size. My rescuers said I reminded them of their own dog—it was as if I was calling out to them for help. When they found me, I was underweight and battling a virus, but despite everything, I remained calm and sweet. They believed I deserved a chance to grow into the amazing companion I was meant to be, and now here I am, healthy, happy, and looking for someone to love!

🐕My Personality🐕

I’m a naturally social dog who adores meeting people and other dogs. I’ll happily approach strangers to say hello and lean in for pets—I’m not shy at all! I even do well with kids, as my gentle nature makes me a great family dog. That said, I can get a bit excitable during playtime and might not hear you if I’m too focused on having fun. Don’t worry, though—with some consistent training, I’ll learn to listen better.

I love making new friends, whether they’re human or canine! I get along well with dogs of all sizes, but I might need a little guidance when meeting new ones, as I can be a bit too enthusiastic. Cats? I’m curious about them, but I’ll follow your lead if you guide me away.

🔋My Energy Level & Walks🚶

I’m an active boy with moderate to high energy levels. I love outdoor adventures, whether it’s a walk, a hike, or a game of fetch in the yard. After burning off some energy, I’m perfectly content to settle down for a good nap. I walk pretty well on a leash, but I can get excited and pull a bit when I see something interesting—like a new smell or a potential friend. With some more practice, I’ll become the perfect walking companion.

I’m still young and curious, which means I love to explore and play. I’m house-trained for outdoor pottying but might need a bit of guidance to stop marking in new environments—it’s a habit I’m working on! I don’t guard my food or toys, and I’m always happy to share. I do have a soft, playful bark when I want attention or when I see someone new, but I quiet down quickly once I feel reassured.
