Become a Foster

More Homes, More Saving Dogs’ Lives!

We have limited space in our shelter in Korea, which means the number of dogs that we can take care is very limited. Fostering can be another way to help us a room to save more dogs.

If you can share a space and your loving heart to our dogs, please consider fostering!

Fostering a dog requires flexibility.

Usually the fostering takes a week to 2-3 months.

Please submit the foster application. We will review and get back to you within 1-2 days

Confirm your ability and we will schedule a flight for a dog

Foster FAQ

It varies. But usually, it takes about 2 weeks to 2-3 months to get adopted. We will be collecting applications and doing interviews to find the best forever home for the dogs.

We accept fosters at all experience levels. First-time dog owners are accepted and encouraged. But being open-minded to learn is key!

We really love for our fosters to have access to a vehicle, but it’s not mandatory.

Most of our foster dogs will arrive at the international airport and fosters need to pick up the dog.

If you don’t have a car, it really helps us out if you reach out to your friends and family to help support with transporting your foster to and from the airport/vet appointment.

The dog will come with the martingale collar, leash and a crate. Once they get adopted, fosters need to give all those to adopters.

Also, heartworm/flea+tick medication(2 months medication) will be provided as well.

Fosters are more than welcome to spoil their fosters however they see fit, and can purchase additional toys, treats, dog beds, clothing items, etc. at their expense if they wish.

After a phone interview, an adoption coordinator will arrange a meeting between the foster parents, and the potential adopters.

After a meet and greet with a potential adopter, please share your feedback with us — we will take your thoughts and insight into consideration in selecting the best home for your foster dog.

Yes, all of our rescue dogs are microchipped, spayed/neutered and vaccinated.

  • Yes, definitely!

Whenever you feel he/she is THE ONE! Please contact us ASAP. We require all fosters to go through the full adoption process, which includes filling out an adoption application, a phone interview with an adoption counsellor and an adoption fee.

We cover any vet bills. Since all of our dogs are vet-checked right before the flight, it’s not necessary to visit a vet in Canada/US just for the general check-up. (general checkup is not covered).

In emergency cases, if the dog is sick, of course, the foster needs to go to a vet for a check-up and it’s covered by us!

The dogs will come with the crate, collar, leash and a GPS tracker. We don’t reimburse any supplies, foods and treats that the foster purchase.

If you have to go out of town for any reason (work/vacation/etc) please let us know as soon as possible. We ask for advance notice as finding a sitter can require some coordination. Sitters must be pre-approved by us, but that could still include your family, friends, and social circle after first connecting with us to discuss.

Still no luck? We can help!
